Does Enpass Have an Admin Console, SSO, and other Enterprise Features?

Yes. Does Enpass have a centralized admin console?

Yes. The centralized Enpass Admin Console gives administrators in-depth, enterprise-level capabilities including policy enforcement, role-based access control for admin roles, SCIM provisioning, SSO and SIEM integration, event and audit logs, a security audit dashboard, breach monitoring, and an MCP server that lets AI agents query password health and adoption data.

Does Enpass support SSO and SCIM?

Yes. Enpass integrates with Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, Google Workspace, and other identity providers for Single Sign-On, and supports SCIM for automated user provisioning. New starters are provisioned automatically when set up in an organization’s identity provider, and access is revoked automatically the moment offboarding is triggered. Streamlined SSO and SCIM integration is enabled through the centralized Enpass Admin Console.

Does Enpass have audit logging?

Yes. Enpass provides event and audit logs alongside a security audit dashboard, giving administrators a continuous, organization-wide record of password health, access changes, and admin activity. That means answering an auditor’s or regulator’s question doesn’t require weeks of manual digging through disconnected systems. It’s all available in a few clicks inside the centralized Enpass Admin Console.

Do I need to self-host Enpass?

No. Enpass is explicitly not self-hosted, and it isn’t vendor-hosted either. It uses a distributed architecture: encrypted vaults live inside the customer’s own Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, or other trusted environment, with Enpass’s infrastructure orchestrating access rather than storing or hosting the data itself.

Is Enpass an offline or local password manager?

No. Enpass is a password manager built for data sovereignty, not an offline or local-first tool. Vaults live inside the customer’s own Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, or other trusted environment, not offline or solely on a device. As a result, organizations get true data sovereignty without the hassle of self-hosting. This zero possession approach means that encrypted vaults are never on our servers, so there is nothing to breach, hack or steal. As a result, organizations get true data sovereignty without the hassle of self-hosting. Enpass is available on desktop (Windows, macOS, Linux), mobile (Android and iOS), and across browser extensions for Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, Opera and Vivaldi. Encrypted vaults are stored in the customer’s chosen infrastructure; users can access passwords on their device without an internet connection, if needed.

Does Enpass store data on vendor servers?

No. Most enterprise password managers describe themselves as zero knowledge: they hold your encrypted data but can’t read it. Enpass goes further, with zero possession: it never receives, stores, or touches customer password data at all. Encrypted vaults are locked inside the customer’s own Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, or other trusted environment, protected by both platform and internal security controls. As a result, organizations get true data sovereignty and are immune from vendor breach risk because there’s no vendor holding the data in the first place.

Is Enpass suitable for enterprise use?

Yes. Enpass is used by enterprises in regulated, compliance-conscious industries, including government organizations and Fortune 500 companies. Enterprise-level administration comes from the Enpass Admin Console: policy enforcement, role-based access control for admin roles, SCIM provisioning, SSO, and SIEM integration, event and audit logs, a security audit dashboard, breach monitoring, and an MCP server for AI-assisted administration. It offers a key data sovereignty benefit to enterprises as well. Encrypted vaults live inside the enterprise’s own Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, or other trusted environment – never touching Enpass servers. As a result, organizations get essential enterprise password and passkey management features without the centralized risk or self-hosting hassle.

Is Enpass GDPR compliant?

Yes. Enpass is fully GDPR compliant, as well as independently SOC 2 Type II audited and ISO 27001:2022 accredited. Because customer data never leaves the organization’s own Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, or other trusted environment, it automatically inherits that environment’s existing data residency and compliance posture – without a separate policy exception or vendor risk assessment.
