Hi Enpass fans!

To help your transition to a passwordless future, Enpass now makes it easy to find accounts in your vaults that offer passkey security!

What’s New:

  • A new “Passkeys” section has been added to the Browse tab, showing all your Items with passkeys.
  • A new “Passkey Supported” section has been added to the “Audit” tab, showing all your accounts where you could add passkey security.
  • For accounts that offer passkey security, the Item Details screen will now display a “Passkey Available” banner if no passkey is found for the account.
  • In compliance with Play Store requirements, Enpass accounts can now be deleted from within Settings.

Enpass Business:

  • For organizations that have enabled Access Recovery, the “Forgot Password” option will now appear on the lock screen even when unlock by face/fingerprint is available.

Fixes:

  • Resolved autofill issues for Outlook, DigitalyChee, and delicousmagazine.co.uk.
  • Resolved custom-icons display issue
  • Fixed translation issues in the tag name editor

What’s New:

The passwordless future is here with Enpass passkey management!

  • Passkeys are a super-secure alternative to passwords, using biometrics.
  • To use Enpass for passkeys in Android 14, in your phone’s Settings > Password and Identity, go to “Password, passkeys and data services,” then select Enpass.
  • To use passkeys on websites, enter “chrome://flags” in the Chrome address bar, search for “passkeys,” and change “Default” to “Enabled.”

Enpass 6.9.0 includes major new features for Enpass Business clients, a new template for crypto investors, and of course, some squashed bugs.

Enpass Business:

  • Introducing Enpass Hub for Enterprise clients, enabling new Security Audit tools for admins, streamlined vault sharing, and Access Recovery
  • For Enpass on Android, this means if you’ve lost your Master Password, there will be a “Forgot Password” option that alerts your admin to help reset your password

What’s New:

  • A monochrome home screen icon for Android’s monochrome Material You theme
  • Template for Cryptocurrency wallets (under Finance in the Add New Items screen)
  • Peek at your Master Password in Settings > Vaults by authenticating with biometrics 

Improvements:

  • Encryption increased to 320,000 iterations of PKBFD2-HMAC-SHA512 hashing (requires one-time biometrics re-authorization)

  • Fixed a “Sync Error” if adding a Business vault while setting up Enpass personal
  • Resolved crash in Enpass Business when enabling Autofill 
  • Resolved rare problem of being unable to backup from Settings > Advanced
