Controlling clipboard behavior in Enpass
When you copy any information from Enpass, it gets stored to your device’s clipboard. How long it stays there is up to you. By default, the clipboard is cleared after 30 seconds
To set how long to keep Enpass data on your clipboard:
- Go to Setting > Security.
- Under the Clipboard heading, make sure Clear Content After is checked.
- Enter your preferred time limit in seconds.

Disabling Gboard’s clipboard display of copied passwords
On Android devices, Gboard is the default manager of data on copied to your clipboard. When you copy a password (or any other information) from Enpass, the copied data is displayed in Gboard’s suggestion bar above the top row of keys. This behavior is not under the control of Enpass, but the clipboard display can be disabled, if you prefer the extra security.
To turn off the Gboard clipboard display in the suggestion bar:
- When the Gboard keyboard is displayed on screen, tap the > icon in the suggestion bar.
- Tap the Settings icon.
(If you don't see this icon, tap ••• to show more buttons.) - Select Clipboard.
- Turn off the "Show recently copied text and images in suggestions bar" option.
