Using Autofill framework

In the Android version 8.0, Google introduced an autofill framework to support third party password managers to autofill in the other apps. Enpass does support the autofilling using android autofill framework. You need to enable it from the Enpass Settings.

Once enabled, Android will prompt the user to autofill the login details in other apps using the Enpass password manager.

Autosaving logins

Whenever you log into any app with a new login ID (not saved in the Enpass keychain), you’ll be prompted to save that as a new item in Enpass. Items created this way are automatically supplied with the Autofill Info and don’t need to be searched for autofilling at first place.

Using Notifications

With the help of Android accessibility services, Enpass provides another way to autofill in the third-party apps using Android notifications. Whenever there is something to be auto-filled on your device, a notification pops out. By just tapping on the Notification, all your login details will be filled-in automatically. Go to Enpass Settings to know more about enabling and using autofill on your device.
